Our Beneficiaries

Since July 2017, we have helped numerous patients to recover from their health problems and poor health conditions. To date, we have provided a total of 1,400 treatment hours to our beneficiaries. Here are some of our beneficiaries’ stories.

Abdul Jalil Bin Sahari

Male, 54 years old

Health Conditions :
Atopic Eczema
Progress:
Mr.Abdul Jalil has been suffering Atopic Eczema for the past 35 years and has been taking medication to control his condition. After treatment and under-going Steroid withdrawal, his condition has improved tremendously without any medication

Seow Wee Kiang

Male, 60 years old

Health Conditions :
Hepatitis C and Liver failure
Progress:
Mr. Seow’s doctor had told him that he did not have long to live due to his hardened and inflamed liver. After treatment, his doctor confirmed that his liver has regained its function. He feels much healthier and energized now.

Chew Ai Huah

Female, 81 years old

Health Conditions :
Osteoarthritis
Progress:
Mdm Chew has been suffering from severe pain on both knees for over 10 years, and has been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. Mdm Chew has under-gone hip replacement procedure and various other treatments but saw no improvement to her condition. She has been having difficulty walking, and relies heavily on the walking stick. After under-going treatment, she has experience vast improvement in her mobility and up to 80% pain relief on her right knee.

Lee Siew Chai

Male, 56 years old

Health Conditions :
Leg Disability & Diabetes
Progress:
After Mr. Lee’s accident, he suffered extreme pain in his left leg and he could not stand thus was wheelchair bound. After treatment, he can now stand and move freely. He was also suffering from Diabetes, which the treatment had helped reduced his sugar level from 7 to 4.6mmol/L.

Elisa Kong Kui Lingh

Eczema
Progress:
Elisa suffered from eczema for 6 years. While she was on medication, the eczema was confined to her legs, but without the medication, it spread to her hands and lower back.

Suhaiza Binti Daud

Female, 43 years old

Health Conditions :
Diabetes Mellitus (Open Wound)
Progress:
Mdm Suhaiza, who has been a Diabetic for 35 years, had lost her job about a year ago due to her foot injuries. Despite trying various treatments including visits to the clinics, her wounds got worst over time. Since under-going treatment, her wounds have finally healed (dried-up) and her blood sugar level has also dropped thus she does not have to rely on insulin injections.

Eng Em Yong

Female, 68 years old

Health Conditions :
Complication of nerve surgery Pain, Numbness & Limited lifting in both hands
Progress:
Mr. Eng had difficulty lifting up both hands due to pain and he had limited movement in both hands (even grasping onto things) due to the numbess. Since starting treatment, he is starting to buld the msucles in the hands and relieving the pain thus enabling him to increase the movement in both hands.

Yee Sin Yen

Female, 43 years old

Health Conditions :
Lower Back Pain & High Blood Pressure
Progress:
Mdm Yee had an injury from falling down when she fell while she was doing her house chores and landed on her tailbone and right wrist. The injury she had cause her right wrist fractured and her tailbone fractured. Mdm Yee couldn’t walk properly as she is swaying to the right most of the time and unable to stand firm when she gets up from her sit. After treatment, she has the strength and able to stand firm, her recovering speed on her right wrist faster, and she is able to walk straight.

James Kong

Male, 52 years old

Health Conditions :
Frozen Shoulder
Progress:
Mr. Kong has been suffering severe pain and could not move his arm for a year, so much so that he could not continue with his physiotherapy exercise. He was amazed that after his first treatment, the pain subsided significantly. Several treatments later, he regained his arm movement.

Jenny Lee

Female, 81 years old

Health Conditions :
Rashes (Skin Allergy)
Progress:
After consulting the doctor, the doctor told Mdm Lee that her injury was cause by a roof beatle and was given a 5 days course of antibiotic. Her wounds did not improve and the next round of consulting doctor she was given another course of antibiotic and cream. Mdm Lee did not feel the pain when she was on antibiotic course but her wounds still have pus and blood. After the treatment, her wounds are healed and she is no longer feeling pain on the wound area

Khong Shooke Man

Health Conditions :
Back Pain & Scoliosis
Progress:
Ms.Khong is a single mother with 2 teenage children and taking care of both her parents. She is suffering from chronic lower back pain for more than 10 years, plus numbness at her right fingers (suspected arthritis). She was also diagnosed with her breast cancer (left breast) in March 1994 and the tumoour was removed 2 to 3 years ago. After under-going treatment, she was relieved of her chronic pain at the lower back and there is also no more shoulder and neck pain.

Lam Chiew Wan

Health Conditions :
Liver Cancer ( Stage 4)
Progress:
Previously Mdm Lam had an operation on her left breast to remove a maligant lump and has been under-going Chemotherapy every forthnightly for the past 5 years. She has been taking medication as the other breast is now having malignant lumps plus also for her Liver which has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. After treatment, Mdm Lam feels less tired and relieved from the side effect of Chemotherapy

Narinder Kaur

Female, 61 years old

Health Conditions :
Lateral Medullary Syndrome
Progress:
Mdm Narinder is suffering from Lateral Medullary Syndrome which is neurological disorder causing her to suffer from frequent sever headaches, burning eyeball, pricking sensation on the face, unsteadiness in walking and numbness in both hands and fingers. After treatment, she had temporary relief to her severe headaches and the numbness has also reduced

Ng Bee Larn

Female, 59 years old

Health Conditions :
Left Paralygic (Post Stroke)
Progress:
Mdm Ng had suffered a stroke around 1 year and 7 months ago, leaving her to be a paraplegic on the left side of her body, with slurred speech. She was unable to stand properly as both her legs are very weak, in addition to poor coordination. With the assistance from her husband, she came to seek treatment. Mdm Ng’s has experienced vast improvement in terms of her speech (she can now speak clearer), muscles at both legs have strengthen up to 50% and no more pain at her hands and legs.

Shaharom Bin Mat

Male, 50 years old

Health Conditions :
Stroke
Progress:
Mr Shaharom Bin Mat suffered from stroke and was admitted in hospital. He was unable to sit up and could not lift up his head. Right after he was discharged from hospital, we personally fetched him from his home to Jawi clinic to have his treatment, monitored by Doctor Lim. After under-going hydrogen treatment, his condition improved and he is able to stand up and walk few steps at a time.

Pang Kau Ta

Male, 71 years old

Health Conditions :
Left Paralygic (Post Stroke)
Progress:
Mr. Pang who was a cook for almost 40 years, came to us with whole body joint pain. To make matter worse, besides the joint pain, his whole body was itchy (especially at night), causing him to lose sleep. After treatment, Uncle Pang is recovering from of his whole body joint pain and the itchiness is almost gone

Shia Chang Sin

Male, 77 years old

Health Conditions :
Osteoarthritis
Progress:
Mr. Shia has been suffering unbearable pain in his knees for 2 years, even walking a few steps was difficult and tiring for him. To get out of bed, he had to grab onto furniture for support. After undergoing treatment, he can now walk longer, further and faster. Even climbing stairs is no longer a problem now.

Qualifying Process

Our beneficiaries are mainly underprivileged individuals who are in need of a solution to their pain and health problems and those who fall under the following categories:

  • Household or personal Income which is less than RM2,500 per month (or RM30,000.00 a year)
  • Unemployed due to illness or disabilities
  • Abandoned elderly individuals or any other person(s) as nominated and approved by Compassionate Care’s Committee

We are a non-governmental and charitable organization that promotes the health and well-being of individuals with limited financial resources through innovative green solutions
